I am pleased to announce that Oregon has been awarded one of the sixteen original clubs in the AFBL. The team will play in Portland, in a remodeled Multnomah Stadium (capacity 30,000, including standing room).

The wall is 25 feet high, and ivy covered, from foul ground in left field to left center, and 8 feet elsewhere in the outfield. Atop the 25-foot wall is actually the 18th Avenue sidewalk, from which pedestrians can watch some of the game.

The major league team will be nicknamed the Explorers. The minor-league affiliates are as follows:

AAA: Eugene Ducks
AA: Salem Cherries
A: Bend Beavers
RL: Sunrise Gators

Hi, everybody! I'm John (although most call me by my last name, Yuda).

I've been playing OOTP for a long time, and have been in the NPBL with Rob and Streeter since the game's 2011 season (which was, I think, 2004 in the real world) -- we're in 2052 over there now.

I live in Virginia, and my NPBL franchise is Virginia, so I decided to go with the other coast. Went to a conference in Portland last year and really dug the city, so I'll be running Oregon.

As a day job, I'm a UX designer with the CFPB.

I like 7 rounds of draft with 10 generated -- I've long felt like our drafts are just a hair too short in the NPBL.

I agree that we should only do some of the initial draft, but I'd like to make it a little longer than 10 rounds -- that's not even half a roster.

You see the talent ratings for players, but not their actual ratings. So basically your scouts report on potential and you have to watch the stats to figure out who's ready to be promoted etc.
