Yeah if you lose :). Games 3 and 4 this sim with Game 5 in a proceeding one if needed. Wildcard Series is a best-of-5 series.

Texas lit Haas up a couple of times this season.
4 times this season. he has 2-4 against texas but in playoffs you can see that the isotopes seems to be another team ... worst of course :(

this series i have full houses with 0 outs, 2 and 3 with 1 out, runners going home ... but 0 runs in that situations. a lot of caught stealing too

by the way, texas oregon is 17-6 for me before playoffs. 0-3 for oregon when it is important to win

Well well, a 13th inning homer by 3B Josh Talley to keep the series alive, with Newbold closing out the win, followed by a 7 innings pitching exhibition by Dave Boyer and we're actually a chance in this series.
I'll get my export done shortly for game 5, congrats to Oregon as well for the sweep.

If we can stretch WV to the end of the series Jorge Sepulveda just might be able to make a return to the mound.

I've been pouring over our regular season games with WV, looking for what they have done well to beat us, and apart from stopping our hitters from hitting and belting our pitchers I can't really see much :D
We've exported and are happy to go when everyone else is. Fingers crossed we can keep the series alive long enough for Sepulveda to make a comeback.

The fairytale could not happen... great pitching by Ricky Marsh for WV in this series. Game 3, went 14 innings and maybe if we had snuck that one we'd still be in the hunt.
Good luck WV in the big series, you deserve getting there after your season.

Statslab as been updated for likely the final time for the 2014 season. I'll update again after the draft then again before ST.

I actually ran the game until November 12, 2014 to bring us to the Award Voting and Amateur Draft. File, reports, and Statslab are all updated.
No sim tomorrow. We'll decide on a draft night plus vote for Season Awards (Statslab) and Postseason MVP (forum). Night guys.

Well done to WV, a great performance all year. Well ahead of predicted records and then took down both NJ and CO, two very strong teams.
Even more impressive given WV were not in the playoffs in 2013, awesome job!!

I think your young guys just started to flourish all at the same time, a very good season. You got my GM of the year vote even before the the championship series, but winning that shows it was the right call.
