Day of the Week Results

So, I was a little bored and thought I'd run a quick analysis on day of the week results so far for just my team, New Jersey Athletics.

What did it show? Well we perform much better on weekends being 39-26 on Fridays (14-8), Saturdays (13-9) and Sundays (12-9) combined (anything to do with more fans at the games??) - Watch out West Virgina, all 6 games against us are on these days in September!! We also have Ohio and Ontario 3 times on weekend days.

We also suck heavily on Mondays (5-11) and Wednesdays (6-14) - easy wins for North Carolina (4), Kentucky (2) and New York (2), and are pretty much .500 on Tuesdays (11-10) and Thursdays (7-6).

Thankfully we've played nearly 50% of our games on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays or who knows what position we would be in.

So some September predictions:

1-0 v Massachusetts
2-5 v North Carolina
2-1 v Ontario
2-2 v New York
4-2 v West Virginia
2-1 v Ohio
0-3 v Kentucky

13-14 in September to finish 81-81

4-0 on the weekend for the first sim of September.... but 3-0 on Mondays and Wednesdays.. wow, we're back!!

So a quick retrospective update...

19-8 in September was significantly better than the 13-14 prediction, mainly down to going 4-0 on Monday's, historically our worst day.

We kept up our record on the weekend days going 9-4, including 4-0 on Saturdays.

Results by day as follows:
Sunday: 15-11
Monday: 9-11
Tuesday: 13-12
Wednesday: 9-15
Thursday: 8-7
Friday: 16-10
Saturday: 17-9
