2013 Winter Meetings

I think next year, I'm going to separate the OF defense award vote for each OF spot so we don't have CFers winning a BDA for a position they technically didn't play .

I'm not sure I'd even vote on defensive awards. Unlike hitting and pitching, I actually trust the game more to evaluate defense.

I'd be fine with this for next season. It'd make my job easier .

Statslab has been updated after today's update. I'll enable the draft module on Statslab so we can begin drafting at our own pace leading up to the live draft. Thanks guys!

Live portion of the 2013 Amateur Draft is complete. Undrafted players become free agents. Claim here on the forum, 1 per 24-hour period.

I'll release a new file tonight to reflect the draft and trades.

Okay there is literally 100 players I want. Waiting 100 days we'll be several seasons down the road. Is there anyway we can adjust the FREE AGENT process since they are Free Agents

CRAP! Accidentally clicked rollback on a pick in the 3rd round. Shit. Anyone have a screenshot of the draft results or know of any way to undo what I just stupidly did. Damnit sorry!

I really screwed up guys. I apologize. I don't think there was any way to revert the draft picks that we made after I accidentally clicked 'Rollback pick' while scrolling/entering picks into the game. I set everyone to Auto and let the CPU refinish the draft. This was the only fair way. Again, sorry guys.

I'll enter in these results and update the file tonight. Thanks and appreciate the understanding.

It was one of those moments in slow motion then a realization of "shit shit shit what did I just do!!  ". Well the redone CPU picked after the mid of the 3rd round is back up in the Statslab draft results.

Of the few questions I asked to begin the 2013 Winter Meetings, I see three issues that deserve to stay on our minds for possible incorporation in the future...

• The DH: about 50/50 on yes or no... if yes -> both leagues or just 1 if so which?
• Interleague play: seems more for yes, definitely in the plans... -> decision is when to implement it?
• Expansion: definitely in the Commissioner's office plans... -> hope to expand from 16 to 20/24/28 within the league's first ten years

I appreciate everyone's input. We'll hold off on any changes for the 2014 season but continue your input and discussion on these issues or anything you can think of to continue to improve our young league!
