The Idaho Steelheads would like to thank Bradford Perron and Virgil Roberts for their service with the team. Both pitchers have been excellent performers over the past 5+ seasons and outstanding members of our community.
Roberts is the all time Steelheads leader in games pitched, 490 and is the leader in career WHIP for the team (1.11). He quietly came to management and asked for a change of scenery and an opportunity to play for a more competitive team. When the opportunity to go to a playoff team was presented to him, he was thrilled. Best of luck in New York.
Bradford Perron, signed out of the New Mexico organization in late 2017 developed into a feared closer for Idaho. The alltime save leader for the Steelheads with 110 and a career 10.2K/9 IP we wish Perron the best in New York as well.
In return the 13, 53 and 3B Steve Atherton were acquired.
