2031 Discussion Thread

Sim 20 and the 2031 Regular Season is completed. New file is up with Reports and Statslab on the way.

We will start the playoffs on Wednesday 9/7 morning or if all are ready. I know that GA is on vacation until Tuesday night and sent instructions.

Ammy Draft will be setup and can start whenever Maryland is ready with the 1st overall pick.

Season Awards are enabled and due by the end of the playoffs. This is a mandatory task that I expect you to do as a member of the league.

Team MVPs for 2031 and any missing years for your team are due in your franchise's thread here in the forum.

My plan for the next 2 weeks: finish the draft this week with a new file that includes Season Awards and Ammy Draft results that will take us to late December, get everyone to submit their HOF ballot along with Postseason MVP and Team MVPs, 2032 Spring Training Wed 9/28 and Fri 9/30, and then 2032 Opening Day Mon 10/3.

We finished up the 2031 Ammy Draft tonight. I have imported the Ammy Draft and Season Awards results. New file is up with HTML Reports and Statslab coming soon.

OOTP Game Date is December 31, 2031

2031 HOF is ongoing in Statslab and due by Wednesday, September 27 at 6am CT.

Also, please vote for the 2031 Postseason MVP and name your 2031 Team MVP plus any missing years for your franchise in the Forum.

My office is moving back into our renovated office on Monday and as 1 of the 2 IT staff members for the 250 or so member office, I?ll be busy starting yesterday  so please get the remaining 2031 Offseason tasks done and we?ll get to 2032 by next week or so.

Did Gabe Wilkerson get into drugs or something?

He was my 1st round pick in 2026; 5th overall.

Skipped the low minors and made his pro debut in AAA where he almost hit .400 (.397-12-100 in 514 PA).  Struggled in limited action as a September call-up (.182 in 27 PA), but was good enough in the following spring to earn the job as the 4th outfielder...

Rookie year was great, hit .298 with 3 HR and 21 RBI in 272 PA...

No sophomore slump, hit .335-11-44, still as 4th outfielder...

Became starting LF in is 3rd season, and was fantastic - .348 (led league) with 18 HR and 90 RBI in 661 PA, named All-Star, won LF Platinum Stick...

Last year struggled to a .252 mark with only 5 HR and 47 RBI in 573 PA during 2nd full season as a starting RF.

This December, at age 25, ratings have fallen off so much that he might not even be on the team during Spring Training. 

He had a few minor injuries back in 27, 28 and 29, but nothing the last two seasons.  Just...  lost all his talent.
