How does the feeder league function? Never used one.
Its a High School and college so some players play games out for 1-4 years and start devloping. It can be used to judge fututre preformance but not totally just like 15%
Good things grow in Ontario.

But then they end up in the draft class I am assuming? Makes sense to see multi year performance results. Like that. Sounds like good realism as some guy max out their tools young and have little projection at the pro level and some guys are raw. Like it.

I'm a fan of feeder leagues.  The one thing to consider is that adding teams and history to the league will increase the size of the league file.  I'm also not entirely convinced that feeder league players and OOTP scratch generated draftees are entirely equal, but that evens out pretty quickly.

Yeah our league file is slight larger now from here on out.

I noticed that about the point of the draft pools of the feeder leagues compared to the scratch generated pools.

We'll conclude the Winter Meetings on Wednesday morning to allow a few more days for teams to voice any opinions. Here's how I'm gauging everything...

DH -> seems split on yes/no/indifferent
Interleague Play -> majority in favor but wait to see how 2017 goes (I'm leaning towards making it permanent for 2018 and beyond but nothing decided)
International FAs -> mostly no/indifferent (toying with ideas to implement some sort of international FA (plus a feeder league(s)?) style draft down the line)
Schedule -> no changes

As Chappy pointed out when NPBL expanded, I'm thinking about adding a few rounds (7 to 10?) to the Ammy Draft starting for the 2016 draft and a few seasons after.

I figure if we added a few rounds for a couple seasons that'll help balance the league and its players adding 4 teams.

The 2015 Winter Meetings are now closed. League rules/adjustments were announced in this post. Changes include: addition of HS & COL feeder leagues to fill AFBL Draft Pools, Ammy Draft round adjustments for the next few seasons, enable 'overall rating based on all players, not postion'.

DH -> no change; tabled until next offseason
Interleague Play -> wait and see how 2017 goes (initial plan is to have just for single season, extend to keep fair balance with new expansion teams?)
International FAs -> tabled for a few seasons (I plan to revisit in 2020 with possibility of introducing International/Independent AFBL league and then hold a FA draft annually or something)
Schedule -> no games added or subtracted; currently deciding on 2017 and beyond scheduling with 20 teams

Thanks to all you participated in the discussions!
