It has been announced that Des Moines, Iowa has been awarded a professional baseball team in the AFBL. The team will be named the Iowa Corncobs, and corn on the cob will be served at every team home game.
The AAA affiliate are the Cedar Rapids Cows
The AA affiliate are the Sioux City Hogs
The A affiliate are the Iowa City Trojans
The RL affiliate are the St. Petersburg Hurricanes
Residents of the state of Iowa are excited to finally have a professional baseball team to call their own.
