I'd recommend we not award rookie awards this season (or we see if the game can do it correctly). Statslab is just pulling all players -- if we want to count them all as rookies, fine, but the ROY award seems kind of silly.

Kind of agree, year 1 we either don't have 1 or have a forum vote for guys aged 24 and under on Jan 1st.

The game engine won't deal with it correctly I don't believe.

Good call about the Rookie of the Year vote. Is there a way to specify in Statslab to only qualify players under 26 or whatever?

No, you can only adjust it by service days, which I guess everyone in the league started with 0.

Darn and you are correct about everyone's service time starting with 0.

I'll remove ROY for the 2013 season award voting.

Well not sure how to remove ROY voting but we'll throw out the 2013 ROY winner if there are votes for it.

My AAA Raleigh Explorers are knotted up with San Antonio at 2 games a piece in the AAA World Series, or whatever it's called.

If you haven't already, go ahead and vote using the Statslab utility for our end of season awards. You can vote for Rookie of the Year but it will be thrown out since everyone is technically a rookie this season.

For David and Steve, your default password for Statslab is 'baseball' (no quotes). This is where we'll conduct our voting, drafting, plus is where you'll find statistics for the league without opening up your game.


We will conduct a Playoff MVP vote here on the forums so we have a record of our most valuable players in the AFBL playoffs. I'll set that up during the AFBL Federation Cup Series.
