Yeah probably stills et to only upload 7 days of boxscores due to the playoff settings or something.
I think since we are dropping this max roster on folks with little notice the other side should happen too... No more ghost positions. If the whole point is getting these guys used then everyone should be using guys to make them better
Also I would like it wrote in that rules must have 1 season before they are put into effect without unanimous approval.
Why? We are supposed to be making sure more players get an opportunity. GMs should be forced to do so....

IMO the difference is that loading up on players affects other teams who then are facing a shallow FA pool, while using ghost players does not negatively affect other teams.

Wahoo and double woot!!!! Best sim ever (which can only mean some sort of file corruption ;D ) .... 8 and 1???? That was a good month's worth of wins for me the past couple of seasons. Pitchers were all on fire - only allowed 5 runs all week with 5 shut outs, only a home run allowed in the 8th inning kept me from a perfect week.That's okay, your next sim, you'll lose 3 to me!

Crawdad Hicks drove in his first 3 runs of the season... after having 0 in his first 37 games.
We seem to be on a roll in NC. We lost 2 of 3 to WV, but EVERYONE is losing games to WV.

You're telling me, Sepulveda out for the season (9-10 months) will likely stop him from becoming the first pitcher to 100 wins, not to mention breaking his All Star appearance streak.
At least we're back leading the division, but our other pitchers will really have to stand up now.

I think I tried before but it's definitely something I'm going to try this year.
Anybody else having any issues with the league file? I having an issue where I click on one guy in game and it brings up a completely different profile of someone not even on my team.

So, Don Wilson, one of my starting pitchers, is 12 for 29 (.414) with 2 2B and 3 HR this season. He's got pretty good batting ratings (all 7's and 6's) but I think I'll keep him on the mound for now, even though he's just 31-39, 4.46 in 101 career starts.

Our 2nd July sim has been ran which includes the All-Star Game.
I screwed up and deleted the event that allows me to manually enter the All-Star Game selections so the game decided to was picked. It did a good job for the most part with only a few omissions from the Statslab voting. My apologies guys!
I did figure out how to chose the ASG starters though so I chose the selected starters in Statslab that were available from the CPU selections. I also decided to use the DH for the ASG as well.
New file is up, reports are extracting, and Statslab is on the way.

Does anyone know where can I see who made the all star rosters (in game or Statslab)? It's usually in the managers inbox a list of both teams but I don't see that. I want to see if any players made the team that are not in the box score, who made the team but didn't play in the game.

He's been hovering around this mark the last two sims. He's down from the first two months where he was near .415 at one point.
His problem is he has next to no power and does not hit home runs at all. In fact, rarely does he get RBI.
However, he's obviously been a beast at getting on base and allowing Al Fuller to drive him in nearly every game. It's going to be a blast watching this guy over the next several years to see if he can indeed replicate his rookie year.

Tommy Carr is up to .409 after a fantastic sim. The Vipers also lost arguably the best closer in the league, Willie Watson, for the season. He led the league in saves at the time of injury for the 2nd straight season and held the 2nd best bullpen ERA.
Also, Luis Bravo took home rookie of the month and that probably shouldn't be happening.

We've been pitching a lot better since trading Freddie Taylor to Pennsylvania, which is odd because Taylor has been tremendous for them, too! He's 6-1 with an ERA under 2 and a 0.76 WHIP.
AFBL also has a shot to have a hitting triple crown in the FL (not really with Carr hitting nearly .400) and a pitching triple crown (very possible) in the PL...

While we'll likely fall into the playoffs, our current form means a round 1 exit is most likely on the cards.

As for us, we had a .400 sim which inched us a little in the right direction. I'm excited about the chance to give Dax Rutherford some playing time in September, but a bit bummed that I lost two of my starting outfielders in the past week. Elvis Lowe and Alvin Kane both had good weeks, hitting over .300 with 4 home runs each.
Need Haas won the Pitcher of the year in the past 3 years in the FL. Is possible that we already have the next dominant pitcher in the FL? Ron Taylor is doing a great season this year with 18 wins, 2.38 ERA and 188Ks. And he is only 20!!

hey matt! I love to see the previous awards in the leagues and when I go to the awards voting history (in statslab) there are people that I dont know who the fuck are they. Only in the awards of 2016 I know they guys (Need Haas, Jorge Rosado, Montoya ...)
Yeah, when you did one of those clean-ups it condensed everything but it also reissued the player id #'s... so what you see in the statslab are the players that are now associated with those ID's. It's the same reason all the pictures got mixed up.

I believe the database cleanup tool would generate a file of all the player ID changes. If you still have that, I can write something to fix the voting history. I did that for one other league once.

Question, perhaps ignorance on my part, we finished with the same record as Virginia and were 10-8 against them this season but finished behind them in the standings. What is the tiebreaker? Thanks!
I dont use usually the "ask AI to setup the minor teams" but I just saw that just after use it, I have 2 or 3 pitchers in the AAA and AA teams and the rotation is set on "5 man rotation". how can it be? And looking the lineups, spots without players ... wtf
