In fairness the game probably is skewed because its offering headline events and its rare a no name player would make headlines for good or bad reasons. So it stands to reason good or bad, the news will be about significant players. But if turning off storylines will stop retirements because of age, etc, than that causes a bigger issue.

It definitely won't stop guys retiring due to age, just stops the storyline 'retirements' - becoming a golf pro, jail time, kidney donation, mormon missions etc.

Thanks. That is reasonable then. Will keep that in mind for the offseason.

4-4 this sim could have done better but for some reason my OF keeps coming in to play SS in extra inning games, in his career he has played 28 games started 6 at SS and made 10 errors its really annoying.

Next week  will be tough with Colorado coming just for 2 games but all games against pretty good teams

Right back to sub par baseball. Tough run of 4 losses out of the gate in May. Won 4 of the last 6 so turned it back around. I suppose some inconsistency is to be expected right now. Irvin and Connor pitching unevenly right now, Simmons getting his stride. Seems like real life with Connor a bit off following his no hitter. Might need to find a way to address that and get him back on track. Upside is getting a little more from Graves which would give me 4 solid starting pitchers.

Hitting wise, good production from the trio of Legarth, Knox and Kirby. Good core for the future. Still working on pieces around them.

Willie Patton went off this sim, 1.332 OPS with 5 home runs! But, as usual with any good Maryland news, the touch of grey is 6 RBI. :)

I was afraid of this sim but went 7-3 to keep up with NJ and stay a head of NC  Now all i got to do is at least win one against NJ or 2 and beat the other to teams i face and im thinking of a good season going here.

My team is alternating good and bad sims but just 3 games under .500 is giving me hope. Might be time to trade some of the #2 farm system for win now players.
