I dont understand why is Taylor the third pitcher in the race for the best pitcher.
He has a worse record than Ojima and Norberto Leon but is the only stat that doesnt depend just on him. He is the leader in the league talking about Hits allowed per 9 innings, Strikeouts per 9 innings, Walk+hits per inning, Opponents AVG/OBP/SLG/OPS ... lets compare more important stats with the two pitchers that has more points than him:
ERA: 2.22 vs 2.10 (Leon) and 2.64 (Ojima)
Strikeouts: 323 vs 260 (Leon) and 224 (Ojima)
WAR: 10.6 vs 9.8 (Leon) and 6.3 (Ojima)
This guy is way better than his record shows (because he is not in the best team and that is not his fault), his awards shows (at least 1 mvp stolen) ... And dont forget that this guy hit at least a home run in 6 seasons (10 HR in his career).
Yeah, if Ojima wins, Taylor can have the thing. I really don't care that much.
