I think we should just leave it alone. Change the timer to 3-6 hours in the early rounds and 1 hour in the later rounds. If you are that interested in picking, make a list, it is not that hard, or just auto it.
In another league, if you missed your turn on the clock , you were skipped until you got back on. That really forced folks into getting a list or auto.

I am fine with 8, but if we increase, not more than 10 rounds. We already increased the AAA and AA to 35 players, so adding more draft picks would need just put more pressure on the number in AAA and AA.

Would it make sense to just create 4 teams with a complete computer generated players at all levels in a unaffiliated league that runs for a year and then merge it into the AFBL at the end of a year or two ?
Not really an expansion team, but teams that are more competitive right away.
