For the league's inaugural season, Joe Haines (http://www.afblbaseball.com/afbl/statslab/StatsLab/player.php?player_id=1772) was named NC Aviators MVP.
The All-Star pitcher finished the season ranked 3rd in Wins, 2nd in W%, 4th in K's and 2nd in ERA & WHIP. At the plate, he led all pitchers in the Patriot League with 19 sacrifice hits, while batting .246 with 5 doubles, a triple, 9 runs scored and 5 RBI.

North Carolina has retroactively awarded MVPs for the last few seasons.
Interestingly enough, a 20-game loser gets the MVP for last season.... he was the closest thing to a Big Leaguer we had, lol.
-
Congrats to Kevin Howard, who becomes the first back-to-back Aviators MVP since Joe Haines in the first two seasons.
-
And now SS Ahilocana Gopalakrishnan wins back-to-back team MVP awards.
-
For 2030, 23-year-old phenom Gabe Wilkerson is the MVP of the NC Aviators...
Wilkerson batted .348 to win the batting title, and drove in a team-leading 90 runs while slugging 18 homers. He led the team with 24.5 OWS and was 4th with 4.9 DWS.
-
Goppy wins for a team-record tying 3rd time (matching Norberto Leon).
-
Tough choice this year with 5 All-Stars, but in the end, Cristobal Castillo gets the glory.
Won the batting title and I have a hunch he will end up with a gold glove as well.
-
The great Ahilocana Gopalakrishnan wins the team MVP award again for 2033.
He led the Aviators with 31.8 Win Shares and is currently leading Patriot League in MVP voting.
Goppy hit .347 and scored 110 runs while stealing 25/34 bases and committing just 4 errors in over 1400 innings at 3rd base.
He is the first Aviator to win the award 4 times.
-
DH Shane Schute (.286-19-91) wins the award for 2034.
In a year with only 2 all-stars and no real standout performances except for Goppy's batting title (though goppy missed the last month with an injury), the DH gets a chance to shine.
-
For 2035, Goppy wins for the 5th time. He led the team in offensive win shares (19.8) and was fourth in defensive win shares.
-
Rookie RF Jorge Baca (.304-26-99) gets the nod this year, despite everyone else on the team thinking he's a jerk.
-
Jesus Ortega wins for the 2nd time in 3 years, thanks to a team-leading 22.5 win shares.
-
In a cruddy season we'd rather forget, Goppy wins his 6th team MVP award.
-
David Ruiz hit .297-32-92 to earn his first team MVP award in the year 2040

For 2041, the Aviators Team MVP Award goes to the pride of Australia, SP Norman Cornell. Cornell posted a 14-5 record and a 2.15 ERA in 35 starts, leading the team with a 6.09 WAR. Both his ERA and his WHIP (0.88) set new franchise records.
