2041 Discussion Thread

Hello everyone!

I have the new OOTP19 full league file with images uploaded. You can get setup by doing the following steps:

1.) Download this file: https://afblbaseball.com/files/downloads/AFBL.lg-FULL.zip

2.) Extract into your ..\OOTP19\saved_games\AFBL.lg\.. folder (make sure you don't end up with 2 AFBL.lg folders when extracting like: \saved_games\AFBL.lg\AFBL.lg(-FULL) )

3.) Launch OOTP19 then open AFBL saved game.

4.) Show that you are ready in OOTP19 by submitting an export. Export Tracker: https://statsplus.net/afbl/exports. Don't forget that you can setup Slack to show whether you submitted an export successfully or not in StatsPlus (enable in the StatsPlus prefences menu). Let me know if you need assistance.

The game date is January 26, 2041. Please get this done in the coming week so we can get started asap. I'm going to go searching for a replacement GM for New York again now that we're on the current OOTP.

Everything is ready to go for me except I am unable to upload.

When I click "Export your team via FTP" I get the following message after about 30 seconds:

"Could not upload file. Error-201:Connect Error"

Yeah sorry guys. I need to adjust the Online League FTP Options in my game then will post the update. Apologies!

Just sent out an email but I have the accountsdata_gms.dat updated.

Download that file here: https://matthewrstreeter.com/ootp/afbl/downloads/accountsdata_gms.dat then overwrite the same file in \OOTP19 directory\saved_games\AFBL.lg\settings\

I'll have the new OOTP19 starter league files updated with the new dat file later this morning/today if you haven't downloaded that file yet.

The sooner we all get setup in OOTP19, the sooner we can start. Apologies about the issues and confusion!

Unfortunately found out that Terence needs to step down as the Washington GM so we now have vacancies with them and New York. I just posted about the openings on the OOTP boards and other OOTP Slack channels I'm in to see if we can get these before we continue with the 2041 season. If you have anyone that would be interested, send them my way!

We are at the start of Spring Training (Feb 25 2041 in game). New file is up, HTML Reports updated, StatsPlus updated, and StatsLab is updating now.

We'll skip tomorrow (Wed 8/8) but start Spring Training on Thurs 8/9 with the 1st half (14 games).

Fri 8/10 - no sim
Mon 8/13 - ST Sim 2
Tues 8/14 - no sim, break to get Opening Day exports in
Wed 8/15 - 2041 Regular Season Sim 1 (April 1-6, shorter than normal sim)
Thurs 8/16 - Sim 2 (Apr 7-13, back to normal M-Tu-W-Th night sims of Sun-Sat in game)
Mon 8/20 - Sim 3 (Apr 14-20)

We have officially started the 2041 season with Sim 1 (April 1-6). New file is up, HTML Reports updated, StatsPlus and StatsLab will be updated soon.
