Sponsorship Deal Ends; Maryland to Update Ballpark
« on: February 08, 2018, 09:25:54 pm »
(BALTIMORE) The Maryland Bridegrooms have announced that they have concluded their 22-year stadium naming rights commitment with G & B & X & T & E Bank and beginning in 2039 they will be playing in Bridegrooms Stadium. Maryland's director of Public Relations, Mason Loganson, said in a brief and hastily assembled web conference that while Maryland will not be physically moving anywhere the change of name will probably make it feel to many like they've moved somewhere.

"Fans of all types will still come down Route 83 and into the city," said Loganson, "but all of the signs that used to say 'G & B & X & T & E Bank Park' will be changed to read 'Bridegrooms Stadium.' These new signs will also include a classy looking arrow that we're helping to develop with the state's graphic designers that will tie into the free downtown Charm City Circulator bus services. These arrows are much more classy than arrows on normal exit signs."

"The Stadium also needs improvements to bring it up-to-date with evolving technology," Loganson continued. "Therefore, we're bringing in our right field fences by 5 feet each and center field by 10 feet. So the new dimensions are:

Center Field: 410 feet
Right Center: 360
Right Field: 325
Right Line: 312

He finished: "Thank you and on behalf of the Bridegrooms organization, have a grateful day."
