Massachusetts Opening

(1/2) > >>

mstreeter06:
I have not heard from the original owner in a while so we are moving on. Massachusetts is now vacant.

For any teams without a human owner, I will auto the entire organization for each sim the franchise doesn't have a human GM.

mstreeter06:
We have found a new owner for Massachusetts. David Hepler will take over the club. We're working out the final paperwork but feel free to say hello!

yuda:
Welcome, David!

DCHepler25:
Hi everyone! I am a veteran OOTP player having played since OOTP3 and in various leagues since OOTP6.5. I am currently in 4 other leagues - 1 OOTP13 holdover and 3 others in OOTP14. I'm also a member of the Beta team.

I live about an hour and a half northeast of Pittsburgh, PA. Yes I am a life-long Pirates fan. 36 years. I also love my hometown Steelers and Penguins. Some of my hobbies include watching games, riding bikes and just hanging-out with my wife and three kids.

As I told Matt, I think this league has some cool twists and I look forward to turning the Massachusetts club into a perennial winner. Of course I will be relocating the franchise to Pennsylvania as soon as I get league approval. I'm working on ideas for team names, logos and uniforms.

mstreeter06:
Preliminary discussions to relocate Massachusetts to Pennsylvania have begun.

Any franchise looking to relocate will have to get their information in to the Commissioner's Office before the current season concludes then must wait a full season.

Once approved, Massachusetts can open up play in Pennsylvania at the start of the 2015 season if the new Massachusetts front office applies to the Commish before the 2014 season opens.
