The criteria used was...
-Position players: 20+ total WAR
-Starting Pitchers: 30+ total WAR, >= 50 GS
-Relief Pitchers: 10+ total WAR, <= 50 GS

Remember that is selection is about the 'best player' of the 2030-2039 decade for each position. What you use to determine 'best' is up to you. Is it championships won, awards, all star appearances, a single season of excellence, consistency, longevity, excellent fielding, average, on base, power, strikeouts, ERA, WHIP, the list is endless.
