My first thought was it was tied to the 35 player limit in RL, but I only have 34 players there so I don't think it's that.  I do have the CPU managing promotions/demotions so I guess it's possible I went over when those players were cut.... just theorizing.

If I put Ron Taylor as pinch hitter, does he get tired to play as pitcher in the next day?

Hmm I wouldn't think so since he's not pitching? Not sure though.

Go to the ootp forums and see about dual players. There is a best way to use them.. I think it's pitch then take 1 day off, hit, hit, 1 day off, pitch again or something like that.

Everything is updated. I need to see a ST export from those that missed today and Opening Day sim is mandatory. I will have to CPU your organization if you're not at 25 players.

The AI on this game is not very clever right? We are in the spring trainning and I have relievers that have played 8 matches and others that didnt face a single batter

The SS on my NPBL team Can Start and Play SS but after he starts 2 games off play 2 Pitch 2 games off play 2 thats how I did it and in my solo leagues you can do pitch 1 day off 2 games 1 off pitch but you would have to us 7-day line ups

My experience with two-way guys is that you will get maximum starts at pitching and hitting if you set the player position to SP, put the pitcher in the rotation, and also put the player in the daily lineup and set a backup to play every 4 days.  If you set the backup to "If Starter Tired", the backup will play too much.  Using this you can get starts at pitcher and in the field/batting lineup and see how the player progresses.

I've never had a guy make it to the majors this way playing both, they always end up going one direction or the other.  For me, usually if they can pitch well, I end up using them as a pitcher.  And if the league has no DH, that guy can be worth some WAR if he's a good hitter going every 5 days in the rotation.

You could at least try this for a few weeks and see how many games the guy is playing at each position, and how many ABs.
