Here is a rundown of what was done from the last upload until this upload (started at 1/1/2017):
-relocate Arizona to New Mexico
-relocate California to Maryland
-realign AFBL into two leagues with two 5-team divisions
-add 4 expansion teams and assign their respective owners to their team
-adjust any logos and stadiums needed
-add COL and HS feeder leagues to the AFBL world as we had hoped to add last season
-sim until 1/10/2017
This takes us to the Expansion Draft which will be conducted in Statslab while I keep tabs of things in the forum to track which teams have lost a player in each round and anything else needed.
The Expansion Draft will begin FRIDAY at 8am CT. We'll start the first few rounds (4 to 6?) with a 6 hour draft slot window then bump that down as we move further in the draft. The draft clock will run from 8am CT until 8pm CT and will pause on the weekends. I hope we can knock the Expansion Draft out in a week with the hopes up being done by Monday (1/27) at the latest.
After we finish the Expansion Draft, we will have a FA Draft for the expansion teams so they can add another 15-20 players to fill their minor league systems.
Remember, there will be NO FA CLAIMS until we finish both the Expansion Draft and the FA Draft!
After all of this, I'll sim until the begin of the 'Preseason' in the game so I can adjust our schedule to our special implementation of interleague play with the schedule that we voted on and then get us to the beginning of Spring Training!

Ammy Draft Pool still announced 75 days before draft (Sept 1st each year)
Ammy Draft moves to 8 rounds (11 rounds generated) from 7&9 before in 2016 & 2017
Ammy Draft moves to 7 rounds (10 rounds generated) in 2018 & 2019
Ammy Draft goes back to 7 rounds (9 rounds generated) in 2020 and beyond
AFBL Playoff Format for 2017 and beyond...
AFBL votes to go with a playoff format of the two division winners and two wildcards decided by winning percentage. Division winner with highest winning percentage will play lower seeded wildcard. The other division winner would host the top wildcard seed.
