Yes to the DH

No Expansion

Indy League would not be of interest to me and just would make updating take longer.

Yeah agreed on the point of it adding to the updating time and file size which is what I'd want to avoid.

I'm thinking that this Indy League idea might be too much for the league and I don't want to ruin our good thing :).

To me, the big draw of this league is the simplicity.

I'm going to make a 180 and vote 'YES' for the DH.

As far as expansion, assuming ownership is stable, 2027 or later works for me.

I'll need to implement a rule that FA claims will be unavailable from the end of the regular season through the completion of the Ammy Draft plus the day after. This is due to some draft pool players also being listed as FAs.

I will let anyone who has a claimed player already signed in this scenario stay on their new team but any pending claims will not be processed until after the draft. Also keep in mind that feeder league draft eligible players can return back to school if they are undrafted.

Yes to DH.

I'd wait for expansion at least until 2027, if needed.

Indy league idea does sounds interesting though.

The idea that teams can claim players who are in the draft pool seems to bypass the purpose of the draft.

Yeah I agree. I'll go back and remove any player that shouldn't have been claimed. My apologies it was still early and not enough coffee this morning :)

Alright it's been a hectic week at work so I've finally had some time to look at recent FA claims. Double check that for me but I can't find any other violations listed below...

Disallowed: *either pending claim voided or recently claimed/signed player removed from team and placed back in draft pool available players*
-SS Malcolm Visser, Virginia
-3B Norm Elliot, Georgia
-RP Raul Ortiz, Georgia (not processed yet)

I will allow NC's claim of SS Arturo Acevedo since he is not part of the Draft Pool and was claimed before our new rule. I'll process this after we finish the Ammy Draft in Statslab when I release the next new file.

NEW RULE: FA claims are not allowed from the end of the Regular Season until after the conclusion of the Ammy Draft (including advancing 1 more day to allow for players that go undrafted to return to school). FA claims will open back up after the new file post-Ammy Draft is released.

Updated to reflect FA claims that need to be disallowed - 11/20, 7:40PM CT

No to DH although I feel less strong about this every time I vote, almost feels like I'm delaying the inevitable

2027 expansion is good with me, Independent league sounds intriguing however it does sound like a lot of work and as mentioned would kill download times which are already a big pain in the butt for me!
