For 2019 it has to be Duane Kirby. At 21 he had the best year of his young career hitting .280 with 24 HR and 92 RBI. He was the rock in middle of the order for a team that improved by 18 wins over the previous season. Big season for him and a good move in the right direction for NY in a year I expected to be completely rebuilding.

1B Pat Gordon- 32 HR, 116 RBI, 92 Runs, .315 average, .396 OBP, .532 slg and 6.4 WAR. What really tells the tale here is his average is better with 2 outs than no outs. He hits better with runners in scoring position than with nobody on. He is essentially a .300 hitter even in the late innings of games. He is a clutch hitter that delivers in big situations.

This year's pick is tough but after a vote, the team has selected their MVP for this regular season to be Chris MacIntosh. While Ken Thomas, Pat Gordon and Stan Turner all spent long stints on the DL, Chris MacIntosh was the rock that kept things going for a second straight post season appearance. He led the AFBL in OBP getting on at an amazing .475 clip. He hit .356 for the year and scored an AFBL best 134 runs on the season. He had 207 hits, 2 HR and chipped 41 RBI as well. He walked 132 times and struck out only 66 times.

Basically had the kind of season you hope for from your star lead off hitter.

Trying to fill in some past seasons.

2018- Vlademar Legarth (.289, 11 HR, 62 RBI before being traded)
2020- Chris MacIntosh (.314, 43 steals, 79 runs)
2021- Ken Thomas (.318, 94 runs, 34 steals and 203 hits)
2022- Chris MacIntosh (.328, 50 steals and 114 runs)

Sorry I know you asked us to fill this in a while ago. Before that I didn't run the team and had already done the 2017 one.

Awesome thanks! Feel free to name a MVP for 2015 and 2016 for the previous owner if you want to complete your franchise's MVP history.

Co-MVPs. In a year where everyone else missed extended time it seemed like, MacIntosh and Turner carried the offense.

Chris MacIntosh- .339, .464 obp, 193 hits, 51 RBI, 116 runs and 42 steals.
Stan Turner- .317, .472 slug%, 22 hr, 122 RBI, 89 runs and 12 steals.

2015- LF Kenneth Krant. His 25 HR and 87 RBI both were team best. His 84 runs scored was second best on the team. He also hit .281 for the season.

2016- SS Ben Crossin. Quite frankly this season lacked anyone worthy of such a title. However, someone gets it, so Ben is it.

Florante Marrald and Jimmy Williams will split the awards. The combined 20-19 record might not wow people but they had some hard luck situations that effected their records. However in a season where Lawson and Ferreira spent long stretches on the DL and Arroyo struggled, they were the glue that held the staff together with 3.15 (Marrald) and 3.59 (Williams) ERAs respectively. If they had better efforts from the pen, they would have won more games. Because of their consistency in a year where there was a lot of trouble with the rotation, they get the nod as between hitters it would have been hard to pick one with so many guys delivering big time.
