AFBL Announces Designated Hitter Implementation for All-Star Game and Spring Training

In a statement released today, the AFBL Commissioner's Office announced that it will test out enabling the Designated Hitter for the 2022 All-Star Game and the 2023 Spring Training. This announcement does not change any decisions from the Winter Meetings for AFBL Regular Season and Postseason play as the DH has fallen 1 approval vote away from passing the past two offseasons.
This will be a good trial run with the DH for our major leagues during AFBL exhibition games. With the DH enabled for these games, it will allow for extra hitters to be involved during the upcoming All-Star Game and allow GMs to get extra playing time for hitters fighting for a roster spot during next year's Spring Training.
