AFBL Competing in OOTP Grand Championship League

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let everyone know that our league has been selected to be apart of the OOTP Grand Championship League. It's essentially the World Baseball Classic for online OOTP leagues. It sounds like a fun concept and I cannot wait to see how it plays out. The winner of the league wins a copy of OOTP15 for their entire league so hopefully that's us! :)

If anyone wants to follow the AFBL's competition in the Grand Championship League... the GCL is still getting set up but the co-commishs are getting things closer. I would think we'll be drafting very soon.

Note from one the commish's Michael Branda...
-I have simmed a 10 year history starting in 1975 and advancing through the 1984 season.
-I have deleted all potential "prospects" from the file so when creating your list you won't be lead into thinking a potential 5 star guy might help you now if he's 1 star etc

Heh yeah. I avoided a younger SP who had a Fragile injury history because of that. It will be nice to avoid any injuries to the #1 overall pick  :D

Hope you checked out Bingo's hitting ability Matt - one of the guys from another league I'm in is very jealous... you might have a Babe Ruth on your hands... 7/5/6/6/5 hitting and 7/7/10 running skills...

Make sure you use this guy wisely.. if you need any advice on how best to use a "two way" player let me know.
