I haven't put anything in writing yet so here are the AFBL relocation rules and guidelines for franchises...
GMs that wish to relocate their major league franchise to a different state, MUST...
-Complete the
AFBL Relocation Request Form of necessary information needed
-Get approval from the Commissioner's Office
-Make an announcement to the league in the 'Team Press Releases' thread with all of the changes
-Wait 2 offseasons after completing the process with the Commish before relocating (Rule goes into effect on Opening Day 2023, Relocation freeze until end of 2022.)
GMs that wish to move any minor league affiliate to a different city, MUST...
-Get approval from the Comisssioner's Office via PM/Email/Chat (just so I can confirm the move and that it doesn't break any rules of where teams can play)
-Make an announcement to the league in the 'Team Press Releases' thread with the change(s)
-Change gets applied by the Commish during the offseason following the announcement to become official the next season
GMs will follow the same procedure (changes applied during the offseason following the announcement) to get any other changes applied that involve updates to...
-Mascots
-Ballcaps/Jerseys
-Stadium adjustments (name, type, playing surface, capacity, factors, wall dimensions and heights)
GMs can adjust their ballpark factors but...
-Only in the offseason to be applied the season upon offseason completion
-No more than 0.150 movement per year for any park factor
GMs can adjust ballpark specifications but...

-Stadium type and playing surface changes are allowed
-Stadium name changes pending Commish approval
-Wall heights changes pending Commish approval
-Wall distances allowed but no more than 30 feet either direction
-Capacity can be increased by as much as 5,000 seats per offseason
