We can unofficially begin the 2013 amateur draft here. I'll post the raw draft order momentarily.
Iowa Corncobs are free to make their selection or listen to trade offers now!

When does it work best for the majority of the league to make a live draft next week? I'm open to any day next week, post here or email me about when it works best for you. It will have to be Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs anytime after 6pm CT. Thanks!

I'm out of town from Tuesday onward. Not sure I'd be able to participate Monday, either, though. So whenever.

I'm completely free Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday I'm out bc I have a three-hour drive to make after work. Thursday is probably doable from the beach although I'm not sure if there's wifi at this place. If worse comes to worse I can always use my phone. :)

If needed we can postpone til the following week if there are too many conflicts.

Apart from the time zone issues I should be OK, however an evening weekday live draft will be my day time so work meetings may get in the way.
But happy to go with the flow.

Monday is the only good night for me, but I may be able to make something else work.

Most evenings aren't going to be good for me either way. I would be willing to submit a list to cover 2-3 rounds and then be auto'd after that.

Right now I'm leaning toward Monday or Tuesday night for our live portion of the draft where we will finish the draft from whatever we are at that point.
Draft module has been enabled and draft order is updated to reflect this season's trades.

Yeah me neither. I'm trying to figure out why, or more likely what I did wrong. I see the draft pool imported into Statslab (160 players) and see the draft pool if I act like I'm going to manually make a pick but no players show in the Draft Warroom.

Yeah it's enabled. I even tried purging the draft in Statslab and trying again but with the same no luck...

Hmm I suppose it is possible. I could make a backup of the league then advance the game to 2014 with the ammy draft in January to see if that works?

With the 1st pick of the 2013 Amateur Draft, the Iowa Corncobs will take SP Jake Howard. Pretty weak draft, but hopefully he'll end up doing well.

We'll pick in this thread until I can figure out what the problem is with Statslab showing the draft pool in the Team's Warrooms (I think yuda's right with it freaking out over not being a new year...). I'll play with it more later tonight.

Troy the Arizona GM emailed me saying that he has his pick ready and will select when he gets home tonight for those next wondering.
Reminder, live draft is tomorrow (Monday) night at 7pm CT to finish off wherever we get to leading up to it. If you are unable to attend, put together a draft list in Statslab and set your team to list pick. Just be aware of putting enough players on the list to cover you in case all of your list is selected.
I'll put a link up for the chat room later tonight or tomorrow where we'll hang out for the draft for those who attend. Thanks guys!

Indiana is set to list pick, so without a timer, it won't pick for him. Think you'll need to make that pick in statsslab for him Matt.

Went with a young catcher named Luis Rojas instead.

We must have been thinking alike. Most of the starting pitchers in this draft have flaws that really make them bullpen guys. And I will never rate a MR or CL over a quality position player, so White was #1 on my list.

He's actually who was causing me indecision with my pick. I nearly selected White as well. It will be interesting to see his development.

I believe List Picks won't automatically pick until I turn on a draft timer. Most likely a Statslab issue with the new OOTP14. I'll select the top player on your list if you don't do so yourself. Thanks guys.

Nice, just got back from the golf course myself... do you play a lot?
Frist time in 5 years shot 97 on 60 course, my buddies made me tee off first and i was late first shot went from blue tee to red tee lol
