I have some work stuff that might run longer than a normal work day Monday so we'll have to hold our draft on Sunday night at 7pm CT.
We'll hang out in a IRC chat room where we'll finish the draft from wherever we get to this week drafting on our own time.
Each pick will have a 5 minute per draft slot with a total of 7 rounds.
The leftover players from the draft pool become free agents and are immediately available following the conclusion of the final pick of the draft.
Here's a fresher on the current FA/UDFA rules to Lawrence and anyone else...
5) Free Agents
a) Free Agents may be claimed on a first come, first serve basis. Claims are made in the designated forum, and not in-game.
i) Owners may only claim two free agents every calendar day during the regular season and postseason.
ii) Owners may only claim one free agent every calendar day from the end of the Federation Cup Series until Opening Day.
iii) For instance, you can claim a player at 11:59 PM Monday and then a second player 12:01 AM Tuesday. AFBL is set in the Central Time Zone and is the factor in any decisions.
b) Undrafted Free Agents
i) Following the amateur draft, any leftover players from the draft pool become free agents which can be immediately claimed by a team following normal AFBL FA rules (Rule 5a).
