P.J. Foley Hits #400
Tuesday, July 27th, 2021
At The Boom Box P.J. Foley smashed his 400th career home run in a game against Washington today. The 37-year-old first baseman had a hand in the Colorado Bears 11-1 victory with 1 home run and 3 RBI. For the day he went 3 hits-5 at-bats.
At the press conference after the game, Foley downplayed his achievement.
"Obviously, I've hit 400 home runs so I belong in that 400 club. But when you talk about the other guys that have done it, I'm not as good as they were. Those guys were the greatest of all time. I've just been able to scrape together some good years and stayed healthy and gotten there."
Lifetime Foley is batting .279 and has totaled 400 home runs.
