A great 7-2 sim but we lost starting pitcher Bob Peters for the season. He was having a great year too going 14-3 with a 3.07 ERA after being acquired from neighbours NY.

We stretched our lead to 8 games over West Virginia despite losing the series 2-1 to them this sim.

I don't root for injuries...but that guy.....

I am back and totally didnt think to have 40 man callups ready for Matt to drop in for me.

A solid 6-4 sim, but WV went 8-1 or 9-1 to close the gap to 5 ... looks like it's going to be a great race to the #1 spot in the PL.

And may I say, some true quality in the draft class this year from my first glance. Will make up for a few of the guys the existing teams lose to the expansion draft.

Draft pool has been imported into Statslab. I'll update the order to what it would look like if the draft was held today but keep in mind that this won't be the final order. We can begin the draft as soon as the regular season ends for teams not in the playoffs.

Yeah I agree although it was manually generated in waves by myself. The game didn't auto generate since it thought we were still using feeder leagues. I'm pleased with how I did in generating the 176 players in terms of quality, development, age, etc. I also had the expansion draft in mind when randomly creating the players today.

Im looking in my minors to see what players can I call up to play in the Isotopes and I realize that my minor system sucks ...

tim francis has done a lot of damage to this franchise because we had two or three young guys who can stay in the ML several years and he was probably with ron taylor, the best one

2 regular season sims left! The FL playoff teams are set for the most part but in the PL, North Carolina is battling for that final wildcard spot. How will the 6 playoff spots play out?

Went from 5.5 GB to 1.5 GB of Ohio with a 7-3 sim.  Keep the pressure up, boys!

WV are pushing us really hard for top spot, only 3.5 game lead now after they swept us 3-0 in the last sim.

On top of this we lost our lead off hitter and star CF Martik Geboyan for the season.

We are reaching the end of the 2016 season at the same time as the end of the year holidays. I have a tentative timeline for us over the next month to get us from now until Opening Day 2017.

December 31st - January 5th: (always can extend into Jan 6th week if needed)
2016 Playoffs! (Continue with 2016 Ammy Draft with a timer in Statslab)

Relocate CA and AZ, expand league to add 4 new franchises (ID, WA, NV, VA), adjust schedule for interleague play (single season)
Schedule Expansion Draft for Jan 5, 2017, sim until day before, release new file

Thursday, January 9th - Friday, January 17th: (if needed can extend into Jan 20th week)
Begin Expansion Draft in Statslab (Forum if needed)
Enter Expansion Draft results after conclusion of draft
Sim to Jan 14, 2017
Schedule FA Draft for Jan 15 (only for 4 expansion teams)
Release new file
*this will be a slow period for AFBL but we'll hopefully finish quicker than my initial game plan*
