I just noticed but New Jersey (former Colorado) P Ron Pratt retired early at the age of 31. Very strange to see. He is likely the best pitcher to have retired in our 3 years as a league.
Wow - who would've seen this coming? He didn't even experience any decline, it's those bloody story lines at play.. grr

I'll be honest - a huge loss for us losing a guy at just 31y/o who was in his prime, 18-8, 3.81 his first season with us and 14-12, 4.49 last season... I am still shocked.
Looks like our performances in ST had something to do with it 2-10 including 8 straight losses.. .another WOW.
