Just realized I have a losing record this season vs 3 of the 4 expansion clubs.

We were too generous in the expansion draft, lol.

Fuller needs Carr to get hurt soon so he misses the min plate appearances...Great season tho. Any wonder Indiana is having such a great season?
Nope... Carr already has enough plate appearances to qualify for the batting title.  It's 3.1 PA per team game, or 501 over a 162 game season, and he's at 504.  Those 66 walks and 11 HBP are nothing to sneeze at.  Good thing this guy is already in his late 30's and won't be hitting like this much longer.  What?  He didn't turn 20 till the middle of July?!?!  %$&%!!!

I guess the one nice thing for opposing pitchers is that despite blazing speed, he has no clue what to do once he's on base.  Otherwise, he could steal 100 bases easy.

Leon was 2-0 and pitched a shutout in one of his starts....  My team was 6-0 today when my top 3 pitchers pitched, and 0-4 when the 4 and 5 guys started...  Built for the playoffs, we are.
Wow... Leon hasn't lost a game since April.

As for us, we had a .400 sim which inched us a little in the right direction.  I'm excited about the chance to give Dax Rutherford some playing time in September, but a bit bummed that I lost two of my starting outfielders in the past week.  Elvis Lowe and Alvin Kane both had good weeks, hitting over .300 with 4 home runs each.

It's even worse when his batting average is higher than our winning percentage.  :-[

Need Haas won the Pitcher of the year in the past 3 years in the FL. Is possible that we already have the next dominant pitcher in the FL? Ron Taylor is doing a great season this year with 18 wins, 2.38 ERA and 188Ks. And he is only 20!!

Haas is actually a 4 time Pitcher of the Year winner! :)

Taylor is definitely one of the league's best pitchers now. It should be a fun race to see who wins!

I am looking at the draft class in game... Is that all that's available or will there be other players in Statslab/HS/College to come into the class?

The draft pool is what is there. There won't be any additions.

Thank god August is over. A below .500 record and another injury (Jeff Fowler this time) and 6 straight losses to end the month.

We've had 4 or 5 of our top 5 players out during the month of August and it showed, we're just lucky to escape with a lead over Ohio.

While we'll likely fall into the playoffs, our current form means a round 1 exit is most likely on the cards.
All those former New Mexico players are tired of you talking crap on their old team so they just decided to be injured rather than play for you :)

B'stards!!

Knowing how our playoff results have been with everyone healthy, we'll either get smashed, if we make it, or pull something out of backsides and actually win this damn thing!

Definitely more in line with the first couple of draft pools than the last one.
