Fuller needs Carr to get hurt soon so he misses the min plate appearances...Great season tho. Any wonder Indiana is having such a great season?
Nope... Carr already has enough plate appearances to qualify for the batting title. It's 3.1 PA per team game, or 501 over a 162 game season, and he's at 504. Those 66 walks and 11 HBP are nothing to sneeze at. Good thing this guy is already in his late 30's and won't be hitting like this much longer. What? He didn't turn 20 till the middle of July?!?! %$&%!!!
I guess the one nice thing for opposing pitchers is that despite blazing speed, he has no clue what to do once he's on base. Otherwise, he could steal 100 bases easy.
Leon was 2-0 and pitched a shutout in one of his starts.... My team was 6-0 today when my top 3 pitchers pitched, and 0-4 when the 4 and 5 guys started... Built for the playoffs, we are.
Wow... Leon hasn't lost a game since April.
As for us, we had a .400 sim which inched us a little in the right direction. I'm excited about the chance to give Dax Rutherford some playing time in September, but a bit bummed that I lost two of my starting outfielders in the past week. Elvis Lowe and Alvin Kane both had good weeks, hitting over .300 with 4 home runs each.
