Trappers Legros Smacks 6 Hits
No matter what the Nampa Stampeders threw at him, Scott Legros hit it. He easily handled Stampeders pitching, going 6 for 6 and helping the Trappers triumph, 27-6, at Stampeders Ballpark.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Legros's quip, Stampeders skipper said he "would take him up on that next time."

Scott Legros hit a three-run home run off David Krischke in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jason Lynch in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

During the current season Legros is batting at a .254 clip with 9 home runs and 26 RBIs. He has played in 69 games and scored 29 times.
