Hixson Now 1-2 After Subduing Vipers
The California Bulldogs got a stellar performance from pitcher Joe Hixson, who handcuffed the Arizona offense en route to a win, 10-2, at The Snake Pit. California, now 5-8, is off to a slow start.

Hixson lasted 7 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits. The California right-hander, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2058 draft, is now 1-2.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Hixson.
