The Washington Resonance topped the Texas Outlaws, 5-2, in Frontier League action at The Boom Box. The game was highlighted by the performance of Washington pitcher Nadir Shirazi. Masanori Hayashi recorded the save for Washington, his 8th of the season. The Outlaws fall to 13-17 and continue their uneven start to the 2065 season.
Joel Vacio, who is the 2064 Most Valuable Hitter winner, chipped in for Washington with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
