Doubet Hits Two Homers in 7-1 Win for New Mexico
New Mexico first baseman Aaron Doubet helped his team beat the Maryland Bridegrooms, 7-1. Doubet, who leads the FL in triples with 3, went 2 for 3 for the Danger. Phil Adams, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 4 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 4-1. The Bridegrooms drop to 14-17 and continue their mediocre start to the 2068 season.

The Danger got a big hit from designated hitter Victor Vazquez. In the top of the seventh, Vazquez pounded a bases-clearing double to center. His 5th double of the season put the Danger ahead, 7-0.

In postgame comments to the New Mexico Daily News, Doubet said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
