New Mexico right fielder Juan Salazar had a 6-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Minnesota Mallards, 11-4. Jose Quiroz, the winner, improved to 2-5. He held the Mallards to 4 runs on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 1. New Mexico is now 21-23. Minnesota is 23-21.

With New Mexico leading 7-4 in the top of the eighth, Salazar hit a fastball from Eric Robert for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Danger ahead, 11-4.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Salazar.
