Knights Suffer One-Run Loss at Minnesota
The performance of Ricky Calvillo proved critical in helping Minnesota beat Ohio, 7-6. The Mallards center fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2. Ben Kaiser nailed down his 6th save. The Mallards, at 16-28, sit in last place in the Frontier League East.

Jose Chaidez, who finished 5th in the FL in home runs with 30 last year, helped out the Minnesota cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Mallards manager Jason Dettbarn. "This one was nice to get."
