Nick Annear, who finished 3rd in the FL in batting average with .292 in 2064, led Kentucky to a triumph over Pennsylvania. The final score was 11-2. The first baseman went 4 for 6, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 1 run and added 5 RBI. Kentucky, at 31-15, is 5½ games up in the Patriot League South.

With Kentucky leading 4-1 in the top of the sixth, Annear hit a slider from Ryan Causey for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Lions ahead, 8-1.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Annear. "But I have better dreams after a win."
