Ohio got a strong outing from Ed Gillberry as the Knights defeated the Alabama Yellowhammers, 4-2, at Madison County Grounds. Gillberry, the winner, moves to 5-6. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks. Cody Messina recorded the save, his 10th.

Ohio won the game in part because of Tristan Galassi. The first baseman ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Knights ahead, 4-2. For the game, Galassi had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Galassi said.

Ohio bumps their record to 24-33 with the win.
