Isaias van Opstal, who finished 2nd in the PL in ERA with 2.16 in 2066, propelled his team to victory over the Ontario Blue Pirates. The final score was 4-3, Ohio. Ohio reliever Jerome Lavigne got the win, raising his record to 2-2. Dusty Coughlin was tagged with the loss. Ohio, at 27-38, sits in 4th place in the Patriot League South.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Ohio. That's when Izzy Cordova hit a solo home run off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Dusty Coughlin to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The house was rockin'," said Cordova.
