Salkin Paces Bears to 2-0 Win
|
Colorado got a first-rate effort from pitcher James Salkin, who frustrated New York hitters en route to a 2-0 Bears triumph at The Empire. Bobby Etheridge sewed up the save, his 10th. The win puts Colorado at 28-42.
Salkin allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings for the Bears. He walked 2 and struck out 4.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Salkin.
