Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Ontario Blue Pirates and Ohio Knights.

Ontario pitcher Kei-thing Xiang did his part in helping his team beat the Ohio Knights, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Xiang picked up the win for Ontario, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 11-8.

Shane Gergen, who finished 2nd in the PL in extra base hits with 76 in 2059, contributed to the Ontario win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
