Nunez Slugs 2 Home Runs, Bridegrooms Beat Empire, 6-5

Dario Nunez knocked in 3 runs to help Maryland beat New York, 6-5. The Tonanitla, Mexico native tallied 1 single and 2 home runs. New York's current losing streak is now 5 games.
Nunez had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Pat Delaney, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Bridegrooms a 6-5 lead. It was the 22nd home run of the year for Nunez.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Nunez told the Maryland Gazette.
