Yellowhammers Earn 7-2 Home Win
The Alabama Yellowhammers picked up a win at Madison County Grounds, knocking off the Kentucky Lions, 7-2. Starting pitcher Tony Trejo was a big reason why. The Yellowhammers improved to 45-62.

The Yellowhammers got a big at-bat from first baseman Dave Gonzalez. For the game, Gonzalez was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Alabama a 4-1 lead.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Trejo.
