Nosediving Mallards Lose, 5-1
|
The Minnesota Mallards and Texas Outlaws left the fans buzzing.
The Minnesota Mallards went down to defeat to Josh Bang and his Texas teammates. The final score was 5-1, in favor of the Outlaws. The Mallards, now 45-67, have lost 8 in a row.
Roger Ramey, who is tied for 3rd in the FL in bases on balls with 64, helped out the Texas cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.
"I want us to come out, have fun, hit some balls, and score. We're having a tough time," said Jason Dettbarn, the Minnesota manager.
