Texas starter Dillon Nemeth kept the Minnesota hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 10-1. Nemeth, now 6-2, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 1, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Now 45-69, Minnesota has dropped 10 games in a row.

Erik DeShazer had a big 3-run home run for the Outlaws in the bottom of the first inning. With Texas leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a slider from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Nick Vernon and punished it. The result was his 26th home run of the season, which put the Outlaws on top, 4-0.

"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Jason Dettbarn. "But it's got to translate into wins."
