Knights Suffer One-Run Loss at Texas
The Texas Outlaws picked up a win at Outlaw Park, downing the Ohio Knights, 4-3. On the mound for Texas was right-hander Eduardo Perez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Perez, the winner, moves to 9-5. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up no walks. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Outlaws.

Texas right fielder Erik DeShazer contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a forkball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 94th hit of the season and put the Outlaws ahead, 4-1.

"I like our moxie," said Outlaws manager Andrew Cole.
