Bridegrooms Come Back Late to Top Titans, 5-3
The Maryland Bridegrooms took Georgia pitcher Noah Corbell's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Peachtree Stadium. The final score had Maryland getting past the Titans, 5-3. Corbell went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 6. Daniel Aguayo notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record now sits at 5-3. Matt French finished the game for Maryland and earned his 31st save.

Maryland needed the clutch hitting of Tim Thomas to notch the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bridegrooms on top, 4-3. For the game, Thomas had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It was a good effort all around," said Thomas.
