Streaking Mallards Win Another One, 9-3
The 9-3 Minnesota win over Colorado was due in large part to Billy Marshall. The Mallards center fielder was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Marc Umland closed the game out for Minnesota, earning his 8th save. Minnesota's winning streak has reached 9 games.

Minnesota used the timely hitting of Chris Hogan to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Mallards on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"When you're winning, you walk a little taller," said Mallards manager Jason Dettbarn.
